BROTHER vs ROBOT is a post-computer electronic dance music project based in Portland, Oregon, featuring multi-instrumentalist Colin Robson with an arsenal of synthesizers, samplers, and drum machines, crafting sounds full of groove and energy. Building an audience through content created using minimalist songwriting techniques with hardware electronic music devices, the project has grown to feature electric performances with live drums, bass guitar, and dazzling synthesized visual projections in the vein of LCD Soundsystem, Caribou, and Rufus Du Sol. The live show has traveled the west coast of the US, Maui, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Hamburg, including clinics and workshops about their approach to performance and songwriting.
An album release and tour are being planned for 2025.
